“Stock Market Sharks” is a desktop trading simulator in which participants work with more than three dozen financial assets in six markets. Quote cards, economic events, news and new opportunities constantly change the game. To increase capital, you need to monitor the market, compare potential returns and risks, restructure your portfolio and negotiate with other participants in a timely manner. <\/p>\n
One of the main features of the simulator is the simultaneous actions of the players. Here you don’t have to wait long for your turn: after opening a new card, all participants can immediately buy and sell assets, trade with each other, negotiate, and react to market changes. <\/p>\n
In a group game, the basic goal is to be the first to accumulate 1,000,000 game dollars in your account, excluding the current value of assets. In a solo scenario, you need to reach the same amount in one hour of game time. <\/p>\n
The host and participants can choose a different verification condition for victory in advance: a larger amount in the account, a specific investment portfolio, the required number of real estate objects or businesses. Thanks to this, the same game can be played in different scenarios and with different levels of difficulty. <\/p>\n
Before starting, participants choose a difficulty level. It is determined by the size of the starting capital: <\/p>\n
After this, the initial state of the economy is determined. It can be determined randomly according to the rules or set as part of the host’s scenario. <\/p>\n
In each round, one of the participants determines from which market the next card will be revealed. It can contain a new quote, event, news, gaming opportunity or a signal about a change in the state of the economy. The revealed information is immediately available to all players. <\/p>\n
A general trading round lasts up to five minutes. During this time, participants can buy and sell assets, execute trades, negotiate with each other, and make other financial decisions. All transactions, money, and assets are recorded in the player’s personal financial report. <\/p>\n
Game time moves monthly. Each quarter, a banking phase occurs: participants calculate income, transfer loans, and work with assets for which the corresponding operations are available through the bank. Thus, decisions in one round can affect not only the current money, but also the player’s position in subsequent economic periods. <\/p>\n

Each market changes along with the general state of the economy. The game provides four such states: expansion, stasis, recession and crisis. An asset that is profitable during a period of growth may lose its attractiveness during a downturn, and more stable instruments may, on the contrary, become in demand. Therefore, players have to analyze the situation and reallocate capital, rather than adhere to one strategy for the entire session. <\/p>\n
Participants can work with banking instruments, gold, stocks, investment funds, futures and options, bonds, currencies and crypto assets. The game also features artwork and NFTs, residential and commercial properties, startups, franchising and ready-made businesses. <\/p>\n
Different assets differ in value, source of income, growth potential, and risk. Some can be resold quickly, while others are designed to provide a gradual income or change in value in a particular state of the economy. Participants must choose between available cash and long-term investments, consider credit obligations, and decide when to keep an asset and when to sell it or replace it with another. <\/p>\n
