The album opens to the reader a unique collection of photographic materials collected by the ethnographic expedition led by Vatslaw Lastowski in the Sluchchyna and Mozyr regions. It presents images from the original album of the 1928 expedition, which is kept in the Francis Skaryna Library and Museum in London. Unique photographs with examples of sacred art and architecture, folk costumes, weaving and everyday objects reflect the rich and distinctive culture of the southern regions of Belarus.<\/p>\n
