The content of Zianon Pazniak’s book is a collection of selected articles, speeches, and analytical materials by the author, published in Belarusian and foreign periodicals during the second half of the 1990s and early 2000s (up to and including 2002). The book consists of two parts. The first part contains selected articles that outline the program and objectives of the political activity of the Belarusian Renaissance (primarily the Belarusian People’s Front and the political party of the Front (CCP-BNF) in the struggle against the anti-Belarusian regime and the internal occupation of the country for freedom and democracy, for the defense of independence and Belarusian culture. Issues of political science, ethics, history, strategy and tactics of the Belarusian Renaissance are also considered. The second part of the book, which is described as the “Appendix”, presents selected texts, photographs, documents and copies of documents, articles, political statements, addresses and memoranda on Belarusian politics and culture. <\/p>\n
