Overview

Kamaroŭka, as well as commercial Sellers on kamarouka.com, offer returns for most items within 30 days of receipt of shipment.

Please note that you must return each item in the same condition in which you received it. This means that new items must be returned new, unused and complete. Used items must not have any additional signs of use or damage.

The same exclusions apply to our Returns Guarantee as for the right of withdrawal. The following products thus cannot be returned under the Returns Guarantee (unless defective):

  • Products that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and whose sealing was removed after delivery;
  • Products that due to their nature have been inseparably mixed with other products after delivery;
  • Audio or video recordings or computer software in sealed packaging, if the sealing was removed after delivery;
  • Products manufactured to customer specifications or tailored specifically to personal needs;
  • Products that may quickly spoil or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded;
  • Services, if the supplier has provided them in full;
  • Newspapers, magazines or illustrated publications, except for subscription contracts;
  • Alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed at conclusion of the purchase contract but which may be delivered after 30 days and whose current value depends on market fluctuations over which that the Seller has no influence.

  • Downloadable software products

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or email). Our contacts are available below and at this link. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (for example by email) without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Kamaroŭka strives to maintain a Marketplace that’s fair to both buyers and sellers. To ensure the safe return of the merchandise, please package your item with care and use a trackable, signed-for, delivery service. If the order contains valuable items, we recommend that you insure your return for the value of the product and use a signature required delivery service.

Don’t return products shipped by Marketplace vendors to Kamaroŭka.

Refund

We will issue the refund once the return is processed within maximum 14 days and confirm it with an automated e-mail. You can see the refund in your bank account or credit card statement, in maximum 7 business days after the refund is issued. In certain circumstances refund timeframes might be longer. In certain circumstances refund timeframes might be longer.

If the seller is commercial and you were entitled to a refund (under right of withdrawal or the seller’s other returns policies), the seller will refund you the purchase price and the shipping and return costs as follows:

Note: €40 refers to the individual item to be returned, not the total value of the return. Clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, and watches are exempt from the €40 limit and the 14-day rule (see separate point in the table).

If you use a personalized, prepaid return label and are not entitled to refund of return shipping costs, the seller can deduct the return shipping costs from your refund.

Sellers aren’t required to refund or replace an order if you refuse to return the item. This applies unless agreed otherwise with the seller.

If you return an item that was originally sent in a shipment with multiple items, the seller will refund the shipping costs on a pro rata basis.

The statutory warranty rules apply if the item is defective, for example, damaged or doesn’t match the description. This applies regardless of whether the seller is a private or commercial seller.
